BAB I

PENDAHULUAN

A.        LATAR BELAKANG

Didalam dunia pendidikan, asesmen atau penilaian tidak dapat dipisahkan  dari peran seorang pengajar yang akan memberikan pengetahuan kepada peserta didiknya, dalam hal ini guru atau dosen lah yang menggunakan asesmen untuk  membantu mengetahui seberapa besar perubahan yang terjadi pada muridnya dalam proses belajar mengajar didalam kelas maupun diluar kelas.

Penerapan 5 E (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate)

LEARNING THEORY

1.         Engage

Sebelum memberi materi baru, seorang guru berusaha untuk mengaitkan dengan materi yang sudah disampaikan sebelumnya. Sehingga materi yang disampaikan akan terus berhubungan satu dengan yang lainnya. Seperti ketika akan membahas tentang tegangan permukaan, seorang guru akan membuat hubungan atau korelasi dengan materi fluida statis, yang sebelumnya telah disampaikan. Guru akan membawa silet cukur, wadah yang berisi air, lalu guru meletakkan silet cukur tersebut diatas permukaan air secara hati-hati, sehingga silet cukur tersebut terapung diatas air. Maka akan timbul rasa ingin tahu seperti “ apa yang akan kita pelajari hari ini ? “ peserta didik bisa tertarik terhadap apa yang telah dilakukan guru tersebut.

(Social Learning Theory)

A.    Teori Belajar Sosial (Albert Bandura)

Teori belajar sosial atau disebut juga teori observational learning adalah sebuah teori belajar yang relatif masih baru dibandingkan dengan teori-teori belajar lainnya. Albert Bandura lahir tanggal 4 Desember 1925 di Mundare Alberta berkebangsaan Kanada. Ia seorang psikolog yang terkenal dengan teori belajar sosial atau kognitif sosial serta efikasi diri. Ekperimennya yang sangat terkenal adalah eksperimen Bobo Doll yang menunjukkan anak meniru secara persis perilaku agresif dari orang dewasa disekitarnya.
